"La Campana" National Park
The only National Park in the region offers a diverse landscape
in the coastal range of central Chile. It invites you to hike
and to observe flora and fauna. Here are sclerophyll and southern
beech forests, acacias, cacti and the last endemic palm forest.
In a day hike through the national park, you will discover
this original landscape or climb to the top of the "La
Campana" mountain, where you can appreciate on clear
days a panoramic view from the Andes to the Pacific. "La
Campana" National Park constitutes one of the seven reserves
of biosphere in Chile, that were declared by UNESCO in 1985. |
